Charley Blue
SINGER // VIOLINIST // PERFORMER

Bio//
Talented and versatile, popular performer Charley Blue reached the live finals of the BBC’s The Voice UK in 2016 with a unique combination of singing, rap and violin seamlessly played together.
Since then she has been in demand to perform at everything from weddings and special events (including Downing Street and St James Palace) to corporate engagements, hotel residencies, festivals and onboard ships.
Whether you book Charley for her extensive repertoire of pop favourites or jazz classics, her rap renditions by artists such as Tinie Tempah, Blackstreet and Jay-Z, or her gusty versions of RnB, country music or ‘Mumford and Son style’ folk, you can guarantee she will tailor her performance to meet your wishes – and your budget.
Charley began playing violin at 7 and hit the local music scene in Tunbridge Wells, joining the Paul Dunton Orchestra at 13, eventually becoming a lead vocalist, featuring on their albums.
She graduated from Sir Paul McCartney’s Liverpool Institute for the Performing Arts in 2012 where she formed Charley Blue (named after the colour of her violin). She’s toured with various bands and orchestras including the Bob Dylan inspired ‘Simply Dylan’ whose concerts included a packed pre-pandemic Liverpool Royal Philharmonic Hall and the Isle of Wight festival.
She is also frequently asked to record as a session artist and has appeared on the BBC1 drama series ‘Mother Father Son’ starring Richard Gere...
